I picked him up on the free agent list to start tonight in the TF Fantasy Baseball League and we get an point for shutout, complete game, no hitter and perfect game. I almost got all 4 points, as Juan Uribe booted a ball in the 8th as the only person to get on base. What a jerk.

On a touching note, his dad was at the game and it was the very first time he saw his son start a game in person. They had a pretty emotional moment in the dugout.

That was one very cool aspect. At the end of the video below (which shows the whole 9th inning), the Dad got to come down to the dugout to embrace his son.

The other cool aspect was how the second hitter in the 9th hit it all the way to the wall (I thought it was gone), and the CF made a great catch to preserve the no-hitter.

yeah what an awesome catch by Rowand...he is a quality center fielder for sure

bittersweet for Uribe, who cost him a perfect game perhaps
