Is Cam hurt? How is OM a seven point underdog? They were 20.5 for Bama. I must be missing something or I would trying to find out who is the local bookie around here. ????????????????????????
and they covered. auburn's defense is getting zero respect, apparently vegas doesn't think stopping jordan jefferson and jarrett lee from throwing the ball is all that impressive.
talk radio is saying that OM has one of the best front three in the nation..they say that OM sees the same playbook everyday at practice with Masoli. who knows...CN might just beat them with the pass........should be interesting...just hoping no blowout......
I hear ya, Reb... but lines are for people who bet, as they say. I can't see Auburn not rolling in this game (sorry).... To add, Iowa is now up to 6 over BCS #5 Michigan State... and all three Iowa linebackers are out for the game. Aren't oddsmakers 'spose to know this stuff?
More importantly, aren't "people" supposed to know? That's the ones that ultimately decide the final line.
I'll be shocked if Auburn rolls, as Hawker claims. It should come down to the late 4th quarter. I still think Auburn finds a way to win, but this is a letdown game for them emotionally and Ole Miss will test them.
I trust Vegas much more than I do the media or talking heads on TV. Money talks, and if Vegas says it's close, I believe them. Over time I see lots of games finish at or around the line. I'm hoping Ole Miss can go a little further and get the upset and keep LSU's BCS auto status alive.
Ole Miss player #2 goes for the blocker instead of the ball carrier and Auburn gets a 95 yard KO return... now up 31-17 with 2 minutes in the first half... good call. :thumb:
