Seriously, after losing to Ole Miss' second string, what's left

    The team plays to win every game. They don't just give up like Grambling when they are out of the NC race. They have lots of motivation. Some are trying to earn the notice of NFL scouts. Others are trying to earn starting positions. All of them would like to go to a major bowl game, which still may happen. Most of them are really focused. Don't try to put namby-pamby fans emotions onto the team.

    Im pretty sure we packed in in last year after the Bama loss. Thats what i looked like to me.

    Well said, Red. Lucky the coaches and players don't think like some of the fans on this board, or we would have some REAL problems...

    LSU "nearly" always plays well against Alabama. I, for one, am counting on it. Then Auburn is looking better and better. The iron bowl is quite the rivalry game. You never know. I know, we have to get TAMU first. But, maybe the loss is a wake up call. Not as easy to swallow as the earlier one to Georgia. Alabama blanking R-Kansas 52-0 usually means the opponent stopped playing at some point. So, Alabama just does not scare me as they navigate their easy schedule. Then, something they did not bargain on...Missouri. This still has a chance to get interesting.

    Every team has a shitty game. I just hope that yesterday was ours. I still say that we can and will beat Bama. The gumps will have that we are unbeatable attitude and LSU will be out to prove them wrong. It took everything Bama had and 2 interceptions by Manziel for Bama to beat A&M. Ole miss hung with A&M till the end and Auburn beat them. Arkansas hung with A&M pretty good. We should have beat ole miss by 3 maybe 4 tds. Shit happens. It sucks but it happens. We weren't the only team in the top 20 upset yesterday.
