Our defense has allowed big play after big play, to less than stellar offenses. And our lack of defensive adjustments after half time, cost us the close games. And allowed teams like Bama, Ole Miss, to hang around with hopes of a upset. Maybe its the Michigan talk, or the Nebraska talk. But we need to get that killer instinct back, I'm not sure we can get it back this year. Maybe the SECCG can give this team a jump start.

    Lol dammit I'm 'special' tonight....

I meant for the season next year. Now I think that is a bit clearer.

Monday's are easy to ruin.

I read on another forum that he was seen in a WalMart with no sling. :dis:

One thing we can be sure of. We won't hear the straight scoop from Les.

I think that's huge. It allows teams with less talent to believe they can stay in the game. Mental advantage.

Same one where some in-laws saw him in Maxwell's at lunch and they said he looked fine?

Man, now my Monday is ruined cause I didn't take him in the TFFL picks. See what happens when someone spits in the air?? :hihi:

Am I wrong to hope he is hurt, now?? J/P

I was fixated on this in the first half, as Flynn couldn't get anything done after the first drive. If it was an isolated case of first half yips, then I wouldn't have been concerned. Alas, that's not the case, if you've watched the first half of most of our games this year.

The red zone defense has indeed been atrocious, and could have saved us. Arkansas is built for OT on offense though, so I always expected us to have to outshoot them. Tough to do when you leave at least 21 points on the field when you have the chance at 'em -- especially knowing that, for whatever reason, the defense ain't all that hot in the red zone right now.

I was watching it with a bunch of family members, and everyone kept saying something about Perrilloux. Not that anyone wanted Perrilloux to completely replace Flynn during the game, but when Flynn was making those awful deep throws, everyone wanted Perrilloux in as a change of pace. If he would've came in and gotten a big first down and got the team excited in the first half, I firmly believe we would've put Arky away way before the 4th. But the team and the crowd pretty much sleep walked through the first half.. came alive a bit in the second and finally got it together at the end but it was too late

Flynn was the most obvious choice. While he did not have the season I think we all hoped for, neither was he a bust. He played a huge roll in our wins. Had Miles started RP I believe we would have had more losses because he just did not know the system well enough.

I agree with this. The team faltered, because the defensive schemes sucked. Flynn made some goofs throughout the season, But, the body of work and points scored by offense should have been enough. This defense never really pressured Tulane and never pressured anyone after Tulane. We won some of those games due to our offense. I'm pretty satisfied with Flynn. He's not a superstar. But, he is not the problem in LSU's losses. On the other hand, I hope Miles lets Perilloux out of the dog house during the SECCG.
