I know what's done is done, but how many of you, in your state of depression, began wondering what our season would have been like had Ryan been the starting QB. Just asking. Because as pointless as the the thought is, it actually crossed my mind. We lost both our games in triple OT, and IMHO Ryan has game breaking ability. And some of those close games could have not been so close if RP had been there. We can't turn back the clock, but man it kills me thinking that Miles' loyalty to Flynn may have cost us a shot at the title. Thoughts.

Bottom line is that Flynn was the most experienced QB on roster, and his leadership has shined at times this year. But on the other hand, RP has more foot speed, and stronger arm. That being said, RP will get his turn, just like Flynn waited for his. RP wasn't consistent enough during the season, to warrant a QB change. His lack of leadership off the field, did him in. Our shot at the title was in our hands, our total team play wasn't enough to win at UK or against Arkansas. Defense wins Championships, we will see what our team is made of in the SECCG.
I'm not saying that RP should have been our starter as we really didn't see enough of him yet to know how he'd handle the pressure, etc. However, I do wish he would have played more. When he and MF would alternate that was pretty cool and seemed to work pretty good. Oh well, we'll see what happens next year as far as RP goes.
What will it take to have you people realize the defense blew our chance at the national title? In 2 games that went OT, we could not get stops. We lost both. Problems with out redzone defense were never solved. 25 yard defense was even worse, unfortunately.
I'm never satisfied......going for your day tommorrow too. Check this thread that went down while you were nappin today. :hihi: >http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/63520-im-worried-about-flynns-shoulder.html<
