Serious question for old time Tiger fans

Yeah and after that win we were forced to play them again in the Sugar Bowl (the team voted against it) and we lost 21-0. Sound familiar????

I was born in 67 and my earliest memory of LSU football was sitting on my dad's lap as a toddler watching them. I thought the Tiger was the coolest thing and when my dad told me he had a name and it was Mike, that was just too cool. It seemed like everyone had these fake looking animals but our team had a zoo animal. I remember my dad was also a dolphin fan when Shula started to coach and I recall the undefeated season so I must have been around 5 or 6. I don't really remember too many rivals that far back, but I never remember two Miss teams so they must not have been too relevant. Cool memories, made me a Tiger for life. I'll watch even if they don't win a game. Don't like loosing but I will never go against them!

I did and was 15...forty years ago.

 

I've been around awhile myself. I can remember when ole miss had some good times. When I went to LSU we all yelled go to hell ole miss as we left the game ( no matter who we were playing). But I can't remember ever ever seeing state ahead of us.

 

MooU has returned 8 on both sides of the ball this year, many 5th year Srs. Gonna loose a bunch of players on both sides, like I said, this is Dan's, Perfect Storm. They head back to the btm next year. An like I said, if he was gonna leave, this is his year. Remember, if he had lost in the Egg Bowl, he was out of a job. How fast is that? The QB is a Jr, he too will be looking to get out, cupboard gonna be bare next year.

 

I agree perfect storm but i think they build on their momentum.
