Don't need the box because I don't have digital. And can you order packages without having digital cable if you have the box? I'm guessing you would still have to pay for the digital package separately. I didn't know that, probably because cox has one of the most uninformative websites ever made. I guess I'll have to call and find out.
Switch to DirecTv. It's cheaper than cable (at least cheaper than Charter down here), and it's part of the basic package, no extras needed.
I have been wanting too for a long time now. Can I still get all of the Hornets games, some LSU baseball games and the replay of LSU football games like they have on the COX sports channel.
I think that's a negative. The only way you can get those is if you have Cox Sports which, obviously, is only on Cox. As for NFL Network, you have to have the box and get the sports tier (which includes the other three Fox Sports channels, ESNPU, ESPN Classic, NHL Network, NBATV, among others).
Sorry, forgot about the whole aspect of having a menu on your tv without the box...which is why I mentioned it.
Unfortunately, no. But I couldn't get any of that with Charter either, so that part had no bearing on my dropping them on their arses.
