if you call making a bad pass and getting bailed out by your WR on 4th down, and then getting sacked and fumbling good, then sure.

    nah, he has played well.

There's a metaphor if I've ever seen one.

Yeah he's kinda choked here at the 2 yard line.

I think Matt Forte really drove his stock up with this game. 50 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards. Not to mention he got em up to the 2 yard line at the end there.

I really wanted to see more of Hester, but I know in a game like this its hard to get it to everyone.

Edit: Forte was named the overall MVP. I know he went to Tulane, but he's a Louisiana boy. I think he could turn some heads in the NFL.

There were points in the game such as 3rd and 2 and 4 and 1 where I was begging the South coaches to let Hester do his thing. However, the south held to there rotation the whole game. But come on, Ainge for a 2 yard QB sneak instead of just handing it of to Hester.

Chevis looked good most of the game but he has some work to do.

USC D looked real good today. I had too many flashbacks of Josh Booty. Over the last year I have noticed that Josh had a stronger arm than JD. Brennan has some work to do along with all the South QBs.

Chancey Washington was impressive and should be a nice steal in the draft.

Former LSU Tiger Hawkins of Cal really improved his draft stock over the past week.

TE out of Mizzou will make some team very happy.

i know. his philosophy had nothing to do with winning a football game (and i promise you had tis been an nfl game he would have kicked it), as most of all coaches doesn't unless it is coming down to the final drive. they are trying to showcase the players skills.

the same reason mike martz used sets all nfl teams use this week instead of his own.

edit: i didnt read your post very well. :)
if they got it they can just run out the clock. if not, the other team is still going to run a two minute and call timeouts, and if they score, and onside kick and so on...

Chevis played well. This was a move up week for him that's for sure.

None of the QB's looked all that great. Nice to see a Div1AA guy, Flacco, get an opportunity.

Sed Ellis, Keith Rivers, and Chauncey played very well but Dominique Rogers-Cromartie had a break out game.

    Lavelle also played very well.

So, I DVRed it and have seen most of the highlights from the postgame show. Is there anything I should look for? All I saw was Hester rumble for about ten yards on a second effort and Chevis get burned on a touchdown.
