After what I've seen so far, Brennan is going to have a lot of problems early on in the NFL. It is very evident he has no clue how to operate in an pro-style offense. Every handoff he's made thus far has been very awkward and ain't gonna cut it in the pros. Also, his short passing game hasn't been great.
Rich Eisen needs to become a weatherman. That is about all he is can worth a damn. i think he is a horrible announcer.
As i type that about Brennan, he tosses a great ball. He has a ton of velocity on the ball. I am not a big fan of the sidearm style of his passes. I think pro lineman will have a fieldday with blocking his passes.
He has gotten 1 run so far. About a 7 yard run pushing through the line dragging a few people. He got some love from the announcers for that.
he's playing primarily at FB right now, but is doing a real good job blocking. A surprisingly good job blocking. The South QBs from Brennan to Woodson, etc... are stinking up the joint. Edit: It's pretty sad that the QBs can't do anything here. There is no blitzing, etc... so if you can't shine in this game, you have a problem. Edit 2: Highsmith just decleated a FB trying to block him.
Highsmith just got some love for taking on the lead blocker on a run. He completely knocked the FB on his butt.
