Send Alabama to the East .

    I would hat this. It would barely feel like the SEC for the West teams.

    Take more than 14 teams to get Bama east. Could you imagine what the west division would look like if Bama and the barn left town?

    The west would be the big 12 and the east would be the NFL south.

    Do the math, it will not work. West gets 6 teams and the East 8.

    yup .. i think the barn will go to the east. ... or MSSTate ... who are just south of Vandy.

    Move au and bama both to the east, keep tamu and mizzou and bring Florida to the west. By moving both au and bama you shift lots of power eastward. By bringing Florida westward you equal out some of the disparity.

    You can't project power like that for the future.

    At some point, Tennessee will come back to prominence and Florida is going nowhere. Georgia is always solid and sometimes elite. That's 3 good teams, and South Carolina gives them a 4th for now.

    I can see moving one more to the East from the West, and Auburn makes the most sense.
