We have to earn that reputation and as of yet we haven’t. This coaching staff and these players have not earned that yet. We have the potential to be that but we have to show it on the field. Hopefully they will grow into a great team but they have to learn from weeks like this.

We haven't been able to do that for about 10 years now. We have struggled against opponents where we should have our backups in by the 4th quarter for way too long. This has transitioned through multiple coordinators and now multiple head coaches. It's one of programmatic culture.

While I think LSU is a ways away from winning a SEC Championship, I think with the talent on the roster it’s not unheard of to at least compete regularly for the division. 3rd and 4th in the West is not indicative of the talent at LSU.

Why do you even watch the games? Seriously in your view you should change your alliance to another school.

How can you have no criticism after the crap you watched last night? It’s almost like you’re incapable of rational observation.

You are right. Also E has had only had 45 days to work with Jeaux, do you realize that? This offense is not near where it can be. Add all the injuries etc and to think we are some kind of offensive machine is folly.

Pulling out these excuses after SLU... you aren’t holding anything back for AU like O and E?

There are surely things to criticize but I'm going to temper that with there still being some unknowns.

Aranda. I think I remember reading something about him having the pieces to change to a more Aranda style D before the season started. Then shortly before the opener we lose a valuable LB and then in the game our rush DE. This has to change things and I'm sure that will take a minute to adjust to

Same goes for the O. Burrow came in after most of the camp if I recall. We lost some OL. Probably have folks playing out of position.

This week will tell us A LOT about where we are

Agree. I just hope they can get somehing figured out. I understand injuries, suspensions, new QB, etc., but a performance like last night next weekend... it gonna be ugly.

I think we lose this one. QB pocket presence is a problem but add no peripheral vision. Guy was right in front 3x and he never saw them, Wasnt his blind side. Thats worrisome. He has to feel his presence if nothing else.
