Don't know about yall, but I'm ready for the seccg so we can put a stompin on the vols and quit all this belly achin on Miles and the Ark game.

So with that, what do we have to look forward to with the vols?? I haven't really seen them play much this year so am not sure what they are bringing.

Discuss and GEAUX TIGERS!!! BEAT THEIR AZ!!!

Like us...depends a lot on which Vols team shows up. They have been blown out by teams we beat, and beaten both teams we lost to. Who knows??

I'm with ya. It's been 2 days since Arky, mark it on next season's calander and lets get a move on.

As far as the vols, it's hard to say. If they bring the team they brought to Cal or against Bama, then we're in the clear.

I know this about TN though... Fat Phil (regardless whether he's liked or not) knows how to light a fire under his team, and they believe in him. They're also pretty close to home so it's gonna be a good fight I think. There is a ton of talent on that team, but they've just not been able to be consistent this year with their execution.

Bottom line is, they'll want revenge for last year, we're looking to rebound on someone's arse... gonna be a good fight either way I think.

I'm gonna make my prediction now with the possibility in mind that Flynn's hurting and may not play:

    LSU: 31
    TN: 28

    In a thriller of course.

Gotta go, the rice is ready... Etoufee is on.. :)

I can tell you they are bringing a complete moron for a coach. Miles might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but Phat Phulmer makes him look like a road scholar.

With that said it will be a close game, unfortunately, cause both teams will let the other hang around.

They'll want revenge for '01. They were undefeated and heading to the NC game if they win the SECCG. Every Tiger fan knows what happened. After that and quite honestly, their program hasn't been the same since that game.

We want revenge from the '05 season when we blew the 21-0 2nd half lead against them in TS. :thumb: :thumb:

'01 might weigh into the coaching staff and their motivation, but it won't matter much with the players on this UT team. On any UT team for that matter. It isn't a school that relies heavily on in state players with loyalties tied the Knoxville.

Ought to be interesting to see how the players bounce back after a demoralizing loss.

This will be a big test for the coaching staff, IMO, not if we win, but will be ready to play and play hard.
