meauxjeaux2 and TigerForums.com Regulars and Visitors, Since many of you haven't seen some of my other posts let me again apologize for the site's performance the past few weeks. Due to an increase in traffic and issues that I believe are related to our host, the site has performed at an unacceptable level lately. Our host claims there is nothing wrong on their side of the issue and don't seem to care to offer much more assistance. I've had very good service and performance from them since we started TigerForums but it's clear it's time to move on to another host. I've been working on moving the site for a few days now but it is no small task considering I only have the evenings and late nights after working all day. Add in two small children that have about 2 hours to see their dad in the evening, and it doesn't make it any easier. I'm left working hours late into the night trying to keep our existing site up and make arrangements for a massive website move to a new host. I'm not looking for pity I just want you all to know I'm absolutely busting my ass to keep TigerForums.com running right now AND make a big upgrade for the future. As far as I am concerned, there is no other LSU forum. If there were, speed would not be a compensating factor for the quality of this site. Folk are working on the issue, and when it is fixed, well great. In the meantime, comments will not make them more aware of the issue or endow them with superhuman powers to expedite the resolution. I would get upset waiting for a Big Mac, Chateaubriand is a different story....
He's not really a GA fan. He's just some fat douche with too much time on his hands. Alot of the regulars of that site have teams listed of rival schools to piss of the "rantards". He's very argumentative and loves to stir s***. That said, he is very knowledgeable about football. Sadly, I've been reading alot more of that forum lately due to the issues here.
I think things have really turned around in the last couple of days here. I haven't had as many problems. Wednesday, however, I couldn't get on at all. Yesterday, it wasn't an issue, and today, things are running fine.
TD is disgusting. I'll keep trying to get on TF- it's better than it was last week, but it's still really slow. On a positive note- it doesnt kick me offline anymore.
Update! I've been making some tweaks here and there to try and make the forum usable until a long term solution can be. It seems a little faster but obviously nowhere near where we want to be. Hang in there. I'm still working in it.
