I agree on Dorsey. He played on nothing but sheer guts. But you know the old saying about coulda, woulda, shoulda. It's adversity and we have to deal with it.

Enjoy the cold one. You aren't drinking alone. :thumb:

Now you've managed to confuse me.

    1. Haven't been here long enough to be classified as on any bandwagons.

    2. Thought my previous post was a form of bandwagon off-jumping, as opposed to jumping on. Is this what you don't like, or is it either ingress or egress from said bandwagon that offends you?

    3. Too many asterisks before the s for me to figure out what nasty little word you're trying to call me. Could you please be a bit more, oh, inventive?

Well, yeah. That's what I'm saying. Of course, I'm not Lou Freakin' Holtz, so I could be wrong.

However, I think, for what it's worth, that Dorsey's injury changed the dynamics of how the Tiger defense worked. With Dorsey failing to blow up the middle on running plays, and failing to mount any kind of pass rush, LSU's defense became attackable. You can't look at the yards they gave up against Kentucky and Arkansas and tell me different.

My other posts in this thread weren't about the Nat'l Title game, so I don't understand what your problem is. However, mispelling the proper words used to describe male bovine intestinal waste product to make your point and avoid the forum cops is something I'd expect from an eight year old. So good work, Sonny!

There will always be Miles haters. I ignore them. Consider this: Out of the 38 games played, you might blame Les for 3 or 4 of the the 6 losses. But the number of games that we won, (and should have lost) directly due to the size of his NUTS, far outnumber the losses.

Why do you think I was calling you something? I was clarifying who I was referring to in the post you took offense to.

There have been a long string of people who have recently registered for the sole purpose of offering blunt and offensive criticism towards our team and coach, and many of us who have been a part of this community for a long time are getting really tired of it.

Simmer down there, new guy, I didn't mean every single new person has no valuable opinion.

You do know that we just won the SEC, right? Cold ones all around.

My thoughts exactly. Les is a BADASS. I only wish we had him in Lincoln.

BTW WV is behind and their QB is out right now.

    The CHANCE is still there.

    I'm rootin' for ya Tigas.

Everyone points to the Dorsey injury (all be it devastaing) but the thing I really feel hurt us after that was Beckwith's not being 100%. Theyre both damn fine players as it is, but to lost both is losing the entire middle of your front seven. That will hurt any team.

I think the point though, is that INJURIES had a lot to do with our defensive struggles lately. I'm just glad that we have at least a month to heal before the bowl game...and I expect that :milesmic: will have the team ready again.:thumb:

I've been saying that. I guess some think it's an excuse, but jeez, Dorsey, Alexander, Beckwith, Toliver, Flynn, not counting losing Doucet again, and then Williams and Holiday today. I think 11-2 and SECC's is a great achievment for the players and coaches. We played 9 bowl eligible bowl teams, and lost 2 games in triple OT
