Because by now you know the statistics: Alabama's BCS championship gives the SEC four consecutive national titles and six titles in the 12 championship games the BSC has been responsible for.
The four most recent titles have been won by three different teams, and the six titles overall have been won by five different teams. The SEC is a perfect 6-0 in BCS Championship Games. No other conference can claim more than two BCS titles, and no other conference can claim more than three different teams even being in a position to play for the title.

Instead of breaking up the BCS, maybe congress needs to investigate the SEC for restraint of trade against the other 108 Division I football teams.
