I hope both teams win out, and it's #1 Bama vs #3 Florida. Florida wins that game, IMO, and moves on to the BCS title game. There is going to be a lot of hype around this game if both teams do in fact win out. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
You guys have been doing that all year... First, Clemson was gonna whip us... Then it was ok Clemson was overrated, lets see how they fare with Georgia... THEN it was Georgia is overrated, lets see if they can handle LSU in Tiger Stadium... Now it's Florida and even if we squeak by them, we will see more  if paired with TT or OU in the BCS title game. It's cool. We LOVE it that way!
Don't forget that Florida offense. They can attack you in so many ways. Remember, too, that it took two QB's for you to beat LSU - yours AND ours....Tebow is not likely to offer any help to the Tide, so JPW will have to play the game of his life. No BS trash-talking here - I just honestly don't think Bama can contain the Florida offense. It might get ugly. And don't think a ball control game can do the trick. Florida can score mighty fast from any point on the field. Dammmmittt - it really hurts to say something nice about Florida, but there it is. :geaux:
You guys keep saying this like Bama played flawless football. I mean we had a fumble roll out of the endzone, a fumble on a kickoff that let you score another TD in less than 1 minute. 15 yard unsportsmanlike that led to great field position and an interception on a stipid deep ball--ALL IN THE 1ST HALF. 2 of those 4 picks were not Lee's fault. He was trying to get rid of it before getting sacked and the ball flew into the air...also, Bryd (I think) was clocked and the ball lept from his arms into Johnson's. I'm not discrediting UF's offense. I know that they are high powered and they have playmakers everywhere. I just cant count this Alabama team out yet. They are playing inspired football. Heart and determination go a long way.
Not only that, your LSU's crystals came in the same decade. Whoever wins, it doesn't take away from LSU's accomplishments!
It's looking worse and worse for USC. The pollsters are turning their backs on them even after a win over a 21st ranked Cal team. Utah has a legit shot at ending up higher in the BCS at season's end than USC. Two teams from the Big 12 South appear to be going in before USC gets in (even with the SEC teams crapping out).
Florida should win it. They are playing the best football in the country right now. If they do win it, I pick them to go all the way.
As doubtful as it may be, I hope Florida State somehow beats Florida and then Alabama blows them out in the SECCG. I've been watching FL all season and I do not see "the most talented team in college football". I see a lot of luck. They don't make too many amazing plays. It's a lot of blocked punts, interceptions, and 18 play drives where Tebow runs for 5 yards every time. IF I had to bet money, I would put it on FL for the NC but I REALLY hope they get shut out!
On a different note...what the hell happened to Georgia this year? Everyone understands the LSU QB situation and how it has affected this team but what do Georgia fans think happened to your team? Granted your two losses were to Alabama and Florida but very close wins over South Carolina and Kentucky and quite possibly another loss if our QB didn't spot you 17 points, makes me wonder what the problem is. Georgia was picked by many to win the title this year yet they're already out of contention for the SEC East with several games to go.
I think the LSU student body should round up all the cell numbers we are bound to have for the Florida football team, and just give them to the Bama student body for them to use. That way, I can see what it look like from TV when somebody does the little fake phone call to the face
