Imagine, or give thought for a second of where the SEC as a conference stands right now. We are at the top of the food chain. We are respected by all and the barometer to be compared.

Now think for a second about the SEC network, a project that has been in the works for some time now. Think about the old markets.

Has anyone given any thought at all to the new footprints we are adding with the SEC network with respect to Texas ATM and Mizzu?

Also, this SEC money will be given evenly amongst all SEC Teams.

Aside from LSU, Bama, and UF/UGA, the rest of the league is about to have 2 steps above 80% of all other BCS schools just by the SEC network.

In adding Texas A&M and Missouri to its conference footprint the number of cable and satellite subscribers in SEC states increased by nearly 50% from a 12 team SEC in 20.8 million cable homes to a 14 team SEC in 30.3 million homes.”
“Think about this for a minute if you doubt the coming SEC Network, with the addition of just two teams the SEC increased its potential revenue by 50%.”

What kind of revenue are we talking about then?
At $2 a month in the SEC footprint, an SEC Network would do $720 million a year.
At $3 a month, still less than Comcast SportsNet Washington and the New England Sports Network presently charge subscribers, the SEC Network would bring in over a billion dollars a year.
    A billion! “

This is an old article, but I think the money value over the years to come is really going to set us up for great success.
