Everybody thinks Mullen will go to Florida and Freeze will go somewhere but who knows how it will shake out at the end of the season. If LSU beats Ole Miss and then they lose to Auburn and Moo U Freeze might not be so hot anymore but would probably get a raise and a contract extension for Ole Miss
Like I've said, Mullen wins every game this year, he still doesn't break .500 ball against the SEC, since he's been at MooU
Who could? Even Saban wouldn't have won from the beginning at Moo. 4 and 5 stars are not going to live in Starkville for 3 years. Even though he almost got fired last year he has turned a coaches graveyard into a huge opportunity. You really can't judge him by his total win loss record there. If he had been at LSU or Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, ect he might have won sooner.
@Bengal B Go back and look, no coach goes from there to anywhere, thats it. I would love for him to get the UF job. Did you see his fake punt last game? Why would you do this? Trying to over think a game. This is his perfect storm, look at his roster, loaded with 5th years Srs. I always talk about a thin line from hot coach to hot seat. If he would have lost the Egg Bowl last year, he was out. I agree, starkvegas, is far from a great place to live. I know, I've had friends coach up there, the guy will tolerate it, the wives, hate it, well most that I know. It has gotten better over the years. But still Skip with all the jokes, tells it like it is..... Who could? Jackie Sherrill won the SEC conference up there, Croom won the AP SEC coach of the year and the SEC coach of the year there, where are they now?

I can see Mullen leaving after this season. State is a graveyard for coaches and a perenial bottom-feeder in the SEC. If he finishes the season in the Top 10, or wins the conference, I can see him leaving for a bigger brand name. Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze, I think, are a different story. He hasn't been there that long. I can see him being the coach there for years to come. The SECW is a great place to be a head coach.
foley/uf have to be smarter than this. mullen is about the same as muschamp as a premier coach. mullen is perfect just where he is although if uf makes another stupid move, im all for it.
