Va Tech beats 'Bama. La Tech @ Auburn is almost a coin toss in my mind. Ok State beats Georgia. As far as SEC play goes, I gotta believe Arky can/will beat 'Bama or Ole Miss which will help us out. South Carolina plays Ole Miss and 'Bama. Maybe they'll help us out and win one of those games. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
UH, I mean if 2 top SEC teams go down the first week, wouldnt that hurt the SEC as far as rankings for the rest of the year? Id hope every teams wins em all, until they play us at least....... I mean now more than ever THE SEC needs to be strong this year. As i see it, IF and a big IF but very possible this year, Ohio beats USC they can run the table easy and go 11-0. Same thing for USC, they could, but i doubt it, go 11-0. Also, Tex or OU could go 11-0. Yea Florida could go 11-0, but I think they will go down in BR. We have 4 conf's that will be in the hunt this year. THE SEC has to finish strong....
I agree with the Okie Lite over Ga. pick. The Va Tech was one I thought had a chance until last week: Darren Evans’ injury leaves Virginia Tech without a proven tailback - BostonHerald.com Virginia Tech lost all-conference tailback Darren Evans to a season-ending knee injury Tuesday, leaving the ACC’s preseason favorite without an established runner to complement quarterback Tyrod Taylor.... Evans’ injury elevates Josh Oglesby to No. 1 on the current depth chart. Seldom-used last season as a redshirt freshman, he rushed for 88 yards on 38 carries. Redshirt freshman Ryan Williams and true freshman David Wilson now figure prominently in the tailback equation. They were much more acclaimed in high school than was Oglesby. During a scrimmage Tuesday for rookies and reserves, Wilson rushed for 46 yards in six attempts, Williams 31 in five. Coaches earlier this week voiced displeasure with Williams’ stamina.
You're right. I guess Vegas thinks the same of Ga. on offense since they lost Stafford, Moreno, and their No.1 receiver.
