bama beat florida 5-2. we play bama in the finals tomorrow and get to hear from the announcers how incredibly fabulous bama is. while failing to mention their "home field" advantage. :rolleye33:
I'm not so sure Bama has a home field advantage here. There was an awful lot of purple and gold in the stands today, and when Chris get's them going, it's almost like this is LSU's stadium. The Tigers like it here. There will be more crimson tomorrow, but the purple and gold will be a helluva lot louder.:geaux:
I still don't plan to attend until the game rotates somewhere else. LSU has the most SEC Tournament Championships because we have the best program. Alabama is second because they enjoy the annual home field advantage.
lol. yep, one of the first things i thought of. i think he recovered. too bad we dont have time for a road trip to hoover to reconvene his fan club. although if i pack now, and hit the road, i can be on the north shore to pick you up around 8 in the morning if i push.
I do agree that they have a home field advantage against everyone, except LSU. Tomorrow, the Hoover Met will have almost as many LSU fans as Bama fans. That speaks tremendously for our fanbase. We travel better than any other team in college baseball. That is something to be very proud of. Tiger fans don't care where we play, we just go there and root like hell for the Tigers. Perhaps the site should be rotated, but that is no reason to deny yourself the opportunity to come to Alabama to see the LSU Tigers kick the crap out of the Crimson Tide. The players are coming, you should too.:tigereye:
if anyone wants to brush up on stats before sunday's game, here is a link to the latest stats. LSU - Season Statistics
I hear you... I've been watching the Tigers since Skip's first season. I have my season tickets, have been to the CWS, Dome, in/out conference opponent parks, etc. but I still don't plan to watch at Hoover until it rotates. I love the SEC but hate the SEC office. Several things need to change like better football officiating, rotating the baseball tourney, and moving the office from Alabama. :yelwink2:
