being in the heart of tornado alley, this doesnt sound like just a "storm". nootch was giving me a pbp of this as he watched live on tv in chat a while ago. he said the announcers said it sounded like a freight train.

it was WILD! I don't think I've ever seen anythinglike that before. Fans panicked until they were told it was weather. Looked like the building was under attack at first!

said the temp has dropped about 10 degrees inside the dome due to the openings

 

they haven't showed any footage outside yet

eventually, they're gonna bring the 2 teams out to warm up again

 

You could hear it on the TV broadcast. Water is rushing through rooms as pipes were broken and you could see the players all of the sudden look up and back away. To the side you could hear screams and fans running out of the arena.

They said radio and other TV guys dropped the microphones and ran out as well.


Some people in Phillips Arena had to evacuate.
