I know its a little early, but I was just wondering who you guys, and gals would like to see in the final series of the SEC tournament?
I would like to see LSU vs USC I think it would be a good match up, all my buddies from South Carolina keep giving me crap like they are the best right now. I know there is a ways to go, but I just wanted to get some opinions.

Everyone wants to be "no.one", but if they aren't LSU...they're "no one". :hihi:

South Carolina's pitching staff has a team ERA below 3 in the SEC. Be very afraid.

yeah, definitely one of the most underrated teams in america. a lot better than florida, that's for sure. they've been quietly building one helluva staff.

but yeah, i'd rather LSU face a team with good pitching rather than a team with good offense. of course who knows how our team will be playing by then?

Given Manieri's history, we'll be firing on all cylinders.

exactly what i was alluding to. i think our pitching staff will be solid enough to take the sec tourney, regional and supers, the CWS is what worries me, but if we get that far....

i am just the opposite. because the cws has games so spaced out now (especially for teams in the driver's seat) that i think the sec tourney and a regional or super would be tougher on our pitching. in the cws, should we get there, the bull pen will have more of a chance to rest between games.

well we'd have to play more games in the CWS, plus the champ series. in the SEC tourney, regional and supers, if we win all games, we'd be OK and not have to search for an extra starter. in the CWS, i don't think that we'd go through it out without a loss, which will make it tough to play so many games. but that logic would also apply to the SEC tourney and regionals if we were to fall into the loser's bracket.

All that matters to me is that I can see the games on television. Until they rotate the games away from Hoover, I don't plan to attend.
