In week six the LSU offense is up a notch, showing a bit of improvement. Defense remains strong. Special teams slipped a bit on kickoff returns. Sacks are down, turnover margin is down. LSU #3 for the 2nd week Rushing Defense = LSU #1 . . . for the 3rd week Punt Returns = Ole Miss #1. . . LSU #2 for the 2nd week Kick Returns = Alabama #1 . . . Defense and special teams may carry us a ways yet.
Due to such horrible passing statistics for the first 4 games, it would take a few games of 300+ passing yardage for use to climb out of the bottom of the rankings....and if we're having to pass for THAT much yardage, then it's a game we're probably losing badly, so in that reguard, I'm ok if we don't climb out of the bottom half in passing this year.
