SORRY BANDIT! i was gonna take over and lost the feed after just a few plays. got it back but game is over and i have no idea how.
ah ****. Oh well. We'll get em tomorrow. Thanks a lot for the pbp. Not exactly the start to this trip was Hoping for. Well we just getting into panama. Good news.. SPRING BREAK. Bad news... I have no way to follow the game tomorrow. So I'll be back. Thanks guys
Overall - this was actually a very good game for LSU. Georgia was crushing the baseball and the Tigers were not, but were still able to stay within 2 runs. It's a loss. And it makes tomorrow a very important game. But I'm thinking this is a very good sign for LSU down the road.
Should the superstitious me mention the Tulane game again? (since they won the first game?):hihi: Sorry, just kidding. Well, today they really came close with a good rally at the end. I think they will show the same fire tomorrow. Do we know if Georgia has any good starting pitchers left?
well i was waiting until the tape delay to watch this game... 30 minutes in and LSU is getting hammered, so i decided to check and see what the score was. good thing because i would have wasted an otherwise nice evening.
Not too down after the loss, will be if we can't secure the series tomorrow, but Coleman is on the mound, and have complete faith in that guy. So hopefully a 8th straight SEC series victory.
i'm not so concerned whether LSU wins this series to be honest. i'd much rather see them NOT wait until the end of their games to start playing like they should. this LSU team is unlike ANY LSU team i've ever witnessed. i'm just not used to seeing LSU teams that dominate with pitching. it's taking a while to grow on me since my expectations of this team involved tons of offense with all the guys returning.
Does anyone else think this is a mental thing spilling over from last season? They pulled EVERY game out in the end.
sure its mental. but it ain't from last season. It's from ape phucking everyone on the early schedule. Now, they act like they can just show up and win. Unfortunately, baseball doesn't work like that. So when you're a really fast guy *cough*Mitchell*cough* you can get picked off of 1st base for taking a ginormous lead after the pitch EVEN THOUGH 2nd AND 3RD WERE FREAKING OCCUPIED. Where the hell was he planning to geaux?? His cockiness cost them an out with the bases drunk and only 1 out.
A agree, it seems to be the "personality" of the LSU baseball team, and honestly it seems to seem typical. Honestly I haven't watched too many other teams play when they aren't playing us, but even when you watch the CWS they say we have the most dramatic wins (come from behind or last minute 9th inning wins), either way, we seem to have the talent to be on the better side of it a good bit of them time, so I will deal with it!
