    Mississippi State dominated us; they were much more physical and we still can't fully handle a strong guy in the middle. He was swatting almost everything we brought inside, yet we still kept going straight at him.

    We couldn't gets shots to fall, Mississippi State played strong defense, and the Bulldogs had 20 more free throws than we had. This was a thorough wood shed beating. The SEC coach of the year has one more shot to prove there is some worth to that title. This game was Brady-esque, but to our team's credit, MooU matches up well with us. Very athletic team.

    For some reason I believe the SEC is better than we're getting credit for. I think our teams will take a couple games each in the tourney (on average). Anyway, LSU is a solid team with a hole in the middle, so we live and die by Thornton for the most part.

    Typical game thread. Matters not what site you are on. Watch the game at a bar, same response with exception of those who tell others to get a grip so they can place themselves above the feelings for the situation. Tigers lost. Shouldn't you yourself move along?

    I actually do agree with your post but you can't rule out the impact the officials had in this game.
    Go to the Auburn post in the college sports thread.
    I am suspect of LSU winning in the first and second rounds of the NCAA because I also think the SEC isn't strong this year.

    I'm not your son for one thing so don't call me your son.
    Don't tell me what to do.

    Well then leave and don't come back.
    I never said that it wasn't this teams fault for losing.
    Go back and read my responses in this thread but I also pointed out how obviously bad the officiating was for this game.

    Now, I'm really leaving!:grin::lol:

    I was cussing the refs most of the second half and I do feel we were called for things that MooU was given a pass for, many times. But in the end, Mississippi St really handed our asses to us AND we couldn't get our shots to fall. I give the Bulldogs a lot of credit.
