SEC Recruiting Budgets – Memphis Commercial Appeal

The focus of the entire article was Ole Miss Coach Wilson, but it has some really good info on all the SEC schools and their recruiting budgets. If you are wondering about TN being so successful, look at their budget - it is twice the LSU budget.

Arkansas isn't getting their money's worth.

 

Yea, that is one of the first things I noticed.
Also, Mississippi State needs to pick up the pace if they want to be back in the race for the SEC West Championship. They will never make it with that budget.

Tennessee's budget is probably larger in part because they recruit so nationally. Other than that, I don't know what the budget goes to that would be different from one top program to another.

 

I wonder where Alabama is?

Tennessee is not doing very good, but I understand why. If you look at there state's crop each year. There arent that many top players to pick from. Louisiana,Texas,Florida always produce multiple 3,4, and 5 star recruits.

 

Oh you thought Saban got all that 40million?? 39million for recruiting, and 1million for Saban.
