So today I am in Little Rock on business and drove to Memphis and back. Anyway no one cares. BUT I had 5 hours in the car and I was able to catch 4 different Sports Talk Radio stations representing 4 different SEC "regions" if you will. With media days going on it was an SEC football buffet.... I caught a station out of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and of course the Arkansas Radio network. It was SEC rival fan heaven. And there was one common them among ALL of the SEC rival stations and fans. LSU has NO Chance to even compete in the SEC West let alone the SEC. The Arkansas Radio network said that if A&M was in the SEC they would be ahead of LSU in the predicted finish and that there is a reason LSU has so few pre-season SEC players..... They had us behind Bama, Hogs, Miss State finishing 4th in the west and hte 6th best team in the SEC I had to chuckle as basically the same LSU team just hammered A&M less than 10 months ago. But I digress.. This was the theme among all rival fans. LSU is an afterthought and dont no belong in the same conversation as Arkansas, Alabama UGA or Florida.. Love it.... No one is giving LSU a chance...
If our opponents show that little respect for us, it will be a big year. But last time I checked, SportsRadioTalkShowHost State U. is not on our schedule.
