so when he lays down in the endzone, how about we let his teammates cover him with a tarp, that will hide him even more,.. and of course that kind of shenanigans can only be done by the home team, road team wears white, cept at LSU, fair play?.. moe don't care bout that,.. ... but why stop there, throw salt in their eyes,.. that'd be ok with you too, huh?.. screw the refs, screw sportsmanship, fucking Moe says, "Let em cheat"
First example is of secondary device/material. Second is an example of battery. Not same level, just saying. This would never work on disciplined team that are maintaining their blocking lanes/man. It preys on the lazy/complacent. I think allowing it sharpens the defending teams skills.
valid point, but football doesn't need that kind of stuff, it's better off without it,.. besides only the home team can do it, it's unfair,.. and it's bullshit gadgetry, that sillys up the spirit of the game,.. kind of like the old FG blocking "pyramid play" did, before they made that against the rules Lol, Moe was probably pissed when they made it illegal
As far as I know tarps are not part of football gear. Is the statue of liberty play an intent to decieve? Is Boise States blue football field blending with the Boise St blue uniforms an intent to decieve? There are about 10 trick plays that are totally meant to intentionally decieve. Should we outlaw them all? If the other team gets fooled by a guy laying on the field and they are too stupid or poorly coached to notice it too fucking bad.
The rules are justifiable where safety can be argued (pyramid play). Only safety issue for laying down is getting trampled which isnt likely in opposite endzone. Home field advantage you say?
