The ones against LSU just hurt more and are burned into your mem. Remember OU and Oregon St? I think that was the game where the refs lost the ball and awarded it to the team that clearly recovered it? Dude was running around the field with the ball and refs were still looking. Or the pick em...again.
15 yards Unsportsmanlike Conduct. You're right though. I'm closer to the outhouse than I am to the penthouse.
That was a Pac-10 crew, and THEIR office openly admitted it was a mistake by the booth official. They handled the situation in a transparent manner, while the SEC office does what it always does and circles the wagons around their officials. I kinda felt sorry for the guy afterward. He was a veteran official who, I believe, had to step down in the wake of that game since he was getting threatening phone calls, and the stress was just too much.
I used to somewhat defend SEC officiating, but it seems to be getting progressively worse. Not just against us, but in general. Holidng calls are more arbitrary than ever. PI (or lack of calls for PI) is a mixed bag as well. I don't know why that is, anybody else have a clue? I don't know if anything is worse than '90 Colorado vs Mizzou where they got 5 downs to score a game winning TD. That's got to be the worst ever. YouTube - Final drive. Missouri. 1990. 5th down. I second that emotion. I was almost afraid to post in this thread lest my eternal should be damned for all eternity. Any particular reason for the cute photo of darling little Reagan?
^^^^^^^^^^^ lmao, went to the bedroom with what i thought was a ten, and magically turned into a 2 when i woke up.
