Re: Mustain to USC What's going on in Fayetteville is worthy of it's own soap opera. Nutt muddied the water by bringing MM & DW's HS coach along and now the entire thing has dissolved into bitter in-house fighting. If you read the article yesterday about the cell phone/media gal, you also saw the discussion about the Hog fan/Nutt family friend who had written a letter to MM and was then banned from the sidelines by Nutt. To say you'd be stunned if you'd read that letter would be the understatement of the year. The concept that a mature adult would have written such hateful, derogatory, and accusatory comments to a college student are outrageous. When you add in angry parents who felt they'd been lied to by Coach Nutt you have a full on explosion. Both Williams and Mustain (if he comes) have scholarships. They are not walk ons. In fact Jody Adewale, a reserve fullback, was asked to give up his scholarship earlier in the year and has taken a job in the Athletic Department with another two years of education toward his Master's to be paid for. That scholarship has been held and I believe will be used for Mustain.
