The info here applies to SEC Media Days in general... There are 3 different sets of interviews, one for TV media, one for print media, and a third on ESPNU. Live Streaming Video and Live Streaming Audio are available as follows SEC Football Media Days has archived links to the interviews from the link above and also shows ESPNU's broadcast schedule. http://www.al.com/mediadays/ will have archived copies of the other set of interviews.
The top post has been updated with SEC Media Day info and links to watch or listen live. I don't think that includes what's going to be on ESPNU, so you might want to DVR ESPNU's show from 1 to 5 on Wednesday. lsusports.net just released a little info for Wednesday: Football to Participate in Day 1 of SEC's 'Kickoff 2008' If anyone has any more info or links, I'll update the top post. Football season is getting closer
Les Miles will be coming on ESPNU in a little while. Again, secsports.com is streaming a different set of interviews, as is al.com; both will have videos available.
Thanks for the heads up, MikeD! Their schedule seemed to be changed, so I only caught Miles. I'm looking forward to hearing what Tyson and Brett had to say. Can't wait for another great Tiger season!
I listened to Tyson, he seems like a real nice young man. Q: What are ya'll going to do about replacing Glen Dorsey? A: "You can't replace him, he's probably the best defensive tackle ever to play for LSU. We'll just try to do the best we can with the little bit of talent that we have left." I hope he's wrong about that "little bit of talent we have left" part. :yelwink2: They asked Helms about new faces on the D, and he said RJF will be good, with Chris Hawkins and Jai Eugene (I guess the projected starting corners today), and he said Drake Nevis looks good and Chad Jones.
Links to online and downloadable versions of the 39 minute ESPNU video are now available at the top of the thread. The media, especially the Alabama guys, seemed to me like they had a more respectful tone towards Coach Miles this year. It's good to see our coach get his due!
"We're not defending anything. The '07 trophy is in our trophy case if you want to come by and see it. We're not defending it." Gotta love it!!! :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
