getting to pretty good bowl games and losing doesnt mean they were overrated but it is how people draw their conclusions. maybe they all shouldnt have been in the top 10 however.
Not to Ohio State! No way do I root for Meyer - I take that back, when he was at Utah ok, but after being at Florida, hell f'n no. Conference pride takes over for me. If we don't kick the ball out of bounds against 'Bama, if we replace Jennings earlier and if the D could have gotten a clue against Auburn . . . We should have taken care of our own business.
im pulling for a taliban strike as always in the bama game. make that two with meyer in it. just in case there are any survivors.
Chicken dinner. Way too many were in the top 10. This has been an interesting bowl season for the SEC. Hanging one's hat on bama's head doesn't really say much IMO, other than that Saban is about to become historic.
So they weren't necessarily overrated, but they shouldn't have been in the top 10.....they were rated higher than they should have been......there's a word for that......uuuuuhhhhhhh..................overrated?
Don't know about you, but I rather enjoyed TCU's premeditated train raping of the rebels (on a 72 in. screen!). There can be joy with an underperforming SEC platter. TCU left me with no doubt they had some medicine for the gumps.
LVT would say we just beat up on each other too much. I posted in another thread I think it's a lot to do with backing into lesser bowls after eyeing the big prize.
