Aggressive chaos with smaller quick guys filling the gaps. Get there, slow someone down till the other guys get there. It gives up yards no doubt about it but it tends to get the job done. "Aggressive chaos" is good..We like "Aggressive chaos", which is PERFECT for us. For we "Specialize in Confusion" - see Tenn. game. Completely planned...Completely designed.
No contest. There is a difference, though. Nick's defenses were rugged all the way down the field, but would occasionally give up a big play for a TD. Nick's defense is complex and designed to confuse quarterbacks. It sometimes confuses it's own defenders, too. A single player out of position can leave a huge gaping hole. Chavis defense gives up a bit of yardage upfield but defends much better against the big play. It's not as complex a defense and it covers the passing lanes very well. A breakdown by one player can lead to a big play in any defense, but it rarely leads to a TD against Chavis' defense. I think you should focus more one on what Chavis has done at LSU recently rather than what he did at Tennessee a decade ago, Terry. It's a different game, he's a better coach, and he's got much better players to work with. I like our chances against Oregon's offense.
OK...So it was "practiced"...Anyway- The Excitement builds for this Game as College Gameday Announces that they will be there to kick off the season. And we're looking at two top "Five" teams, possibly!! I can't think of a bigger game to open up the season in recent memory. And JerryWorld is a spectacular (Expensive) Venue. So Ducks, Here's to ya: To a Good Game and a Good Time.
Yea, it's going to be a great game!! I really don't worry too much about pre-season rankings. I'm more interested in December and January. Of course being in the top 10 to start the season makes it easier to stay there....... Just win! Coming from a lower pre-season ranking does make it a bit more difficult to get in the top two. Back at you..... Good game..... and a great time to be had by ALL.
Just wondering...what is the Pac - 12's breakdown now? Do y'all have two conference divisions and the winner from each plays in the championship game or is it a best record kind of thing? Where is the championship game? I could google it I guess but I’m lazy.
Hello Mr. Duck, Welcome to the forum. Do you have any information on tickets from the Oregon athletic department? Trying to hook some friends up and LSU has already sold their allotment. Thank you and good luck this season.
i rarely post anymore, but that has to be one of the most inane and delusional posts i have read so far this season. :thumb: :dis: comparing the bottom of the SEC to the bottom of the pac-10, i'd say they're about equal. the difference is in the top-tier SEC teams.
