I am not sure we will have many teams in the playoffs , .That is the reason for the playoffs to keep the SEC out . it was a failed play off this season . TCU should have been there !! Ohio State should not have been there. House Rules
Out of ALL of the four teams that made the playoff, you chose Ohio State, the national champions, to be the team that should not have been there? Oregon made Florida State look foolish, Ohio State soundly whipped Bama, then went on to emasculate Oregon. The playoff committee got that one team right, for sure.
The playoffs were meant to keep the SEC out? Alabama was in the playoffs. The SEC is likely the only conference that might end up with two teams in. Had we followed the BCS formula again this season, Alabama would have played FSU for the NC. Clearly neither team belonged in the game. How many times did non-SEC teams get told that the CCG was worth "extra credit" so to speak? So other conferences re-arranged and added a CCG. How many times did other teams get told "win your games" and then you won't have to be on the sidelines? So other teams are winning their games. The BCS NCGs have a list of teams who shouldn't have been there....Oklahoma (more than once), Florida St, Ohio St, Notre Dame all because they were ranked 1 and 2....human polls which were largely skewed. The change in process was aimed at correcting that, not to keep the SEC out. It's not possible anyway. The SEC will always be in the hunt.
