Congrats From a die hard GATOR. Thanks for keeping it in the SEC. The chant was awseome. Maybe now the SEC will get the recognition it deserves. 9 teams made bowl games this year and if we hadn't choked all but 1 would have won. OSU faced 1 top 20 team and lost that one. Wouldn't it be nice to play pansies all year and make it to a championship? We are in the toughest conference in college football PERIOD and it has been proven the past 2 years not doubt. Sort of odd we beat them by a combined total of 41 points in the past 2 games. Damn they are good. If the would defer the opening kickoff the game would be over at the start. Thats the only time they had any flash of brilliance. Anyway CONGRATS LSU!
We complain about the BCS, with some justification, but it has given the opportunity to put a one, and even a two, loss SEC team on the field in the championship game, over other teams with the same or better record, and show what they can do. For that, thanks BCS. :geaux: :crystal:
I can't remember the UT BCS game circumstances, but UF and LSU both had to jump through hoops and pray to football gods to get in the game. And Auburn got snubbed in 04'. The SEC would win every year in a playoff. The BCS has proven this much. 4-0.
That was awesome and it was very clear on the broadcast what was being chanted. I agree we put it all on the field during the regular season and in the SEC championship game. You always want your team to be in position to play for the NC, but if you can't, you take a great deal of pride in having one of your own be there and bring it home.
