To me...the much noticeable SEC chant by the Tiger fans instead of LSU, I heard it multiple times on TV, shows the class and respect tiger fans have for the other teams in the SEC. I loved it!!!! :crystal:
Unless you live down here in it and experience the kind of football played in the SEC you just don't understand. I think the Buckeyes "understand" tonight as do their fans and the rest of the nation is beginning to see it as well. There's just some dang good football in the SEC.
Very Impressive I have a feeling that OSU was about the 5th best team that the Tigers played this year and the LSU players knew it.
Very Nice Touch. I know the regular season is a War in the SEC, but I love it when the conference shines and pulls for each other come bowl season. 7-2 is a great showing, capped off by a great win by the Tigers tonight!
I'd agree with that one. I'd been saying for a while now I thought OSU wasn't as good as several of the SEC teams we had to contend with this year. Obviously that was proven tonight.:thumb:
Several teams in the SEC have the benefit of being extremely familiar with our personnel and tendencies throughout the year. (Not to mention LSU's injuries and the playing-#1 factor that allowed Kentucky and Arkansas to sneak up on us). We played the most disciplined football that we've played all season, with only 2 penalties and one turnover. Imagine what the Kentucky game would have turned out like if we played the same way we played tonight.
I thought it was awesome to do that chant. It not only says that it is the best conference in the NCAA but that we were the champion of the SEC AND the National Champs.
The SEC is just like a big family. We fight among ourselves but we don't like when outsiders don't respect our family! Can we get an SEC smiley? ldskule: :crystal: :crystal:
