To get off the troll and back to football (you guys are making his point for him)

This stat is the one that baffles me the most. It seems like such a basic stat that I would have thought I was sure to know and didn't. On top of that I can't believe it is only six until I really start to think about it! Amazing! Thanks for the info!! even if you did steal it from the dang vols!:D

Very interesting. I think it's hard to pull anything from this because we're only talking over 15 years. Let another 20 or so pass and we'll have a better idea of true dominance, although right now, Florida is still very strong.

    Your name is appropriate.

    FYI, this is from wikepedia

School Last Conference Title number of SEC TITLES
    Alabama 1999 21
    Tennessee 1998 13
    Georgia 2005 12
    LSU 2007 10
    Florida 2006 7
    Auburn 2004 6
    Mississippi 1963 6
    Georgia Tech* 1952 5
    Tulane* 1949 3
    Kentucky 1976 2
    Mississippi State 1941 1
    Arkansas 1989 0
    Sewanee* 1909 0
    South Carolina 1969 0
    Vanderbilt 1923 0

Historically, FL is not impressive, they were just the team of the 90's. I believe we will move up to number 2 in the next decade. Bama may hold the number one spot for a long time. It is interesting to note that Tulane has more than Kent, Miss St, and Vandy!

Everyone including the moderator is right, I should have not commented on the guy's avitar. This is an LSU football forum, not a political opinion forum. I WAS WRONG. I was pulling an all nighter working on a project and saw this and it annoyed me. I should have kept my opinion and beliefs to myself. Maybe we can pull this topic over to Free Speach Alley and go at it if you want to. Anyway.............:geaux:
