Whoooohooooo! What heart, determination, and perseverance this team has. They are so much better than they were two months ago. National media still talking about the losses months ago, but I would venture to say those outcomes would be very different now. Wow what a time to be a Tiger. Football, basketball, and baseball all clicking on full cylinders. Football was a little down in 2008, but on the heels of a national championship, and #1 recruiting class this year. Many things to be thankful for as a Tiger. Hope the basketball team can show their stuff come March Madness. Go Tigers!!!:LSU231:
I bet a lot of fans have the same feeling;I had the same thoughts late in the season. I think this team is peaking now, and continues to improve with built up confidence. Amazing run ..............another "refuse to lose" team:wink:
I am so excited about the accomplishments of the Basketball team. Nobody saw this coming. Let's hope that it's not due to the fact that the SEC is extremely weak and that our team is for real. Can't wait for the NCAA tourney to showcase our team.
That's what I love best about this team. They are constantly harassing their opponents. Nothing comes easy for their foes...not passing, dribbling, rebounding, and certainly not shooting. I love a good defensive basketball team, and the Tigers are ferocious on that end. They remind me of the Pistons in '03. The biggest concern going into the tourney is obviously depth. I think we'd be putting teams away a lot earlier on if we had more of it. At any rate, what Johnson has done this year is nothing short of remarkable. He took the same guys from last year and turned them into an excellent team. It's hard to believe that this is the same group who couldn't handle the ball or make good shot selection to save their lives last year. And intense defense was completely out of the question. Spectacular job, Trent!!!:LSU231:
