http://www.secsports.com/doc_lib/bkc_2009_bracket.pdf so lsu gets the OM/UK winner. really strange year. i can think of very few solid reasons to prefer certain opponents. obviously lsu has a very hard time stopping any big man with a pulse (vandy, uk, msu). lsu handled USC the best, but i think the tigers would do well against the youth of OM and Ark. but besides UGA, i would like a rematch with UF. so i think the tigers would benefit from facing OM, USC (im not giving UGA a shot to get to the 3rd round), then UF.
I'm taking First Round Ole Miss/Kentucky Georgia/MSU Vandy/Bama Florida/Arkansas 2nd Round Ole Miss/LSU MSU/USC Vandy/Tenn Florida/Auburn Semis LSU/MSU Tenn/Auburn I feel that Ole Miss has been playing much better to finish the season, and Kentucky has been just going through the motions. MSU really had a good season going, but collapsed after the 2OT loss to LSU. I just flipped a coin for USC/MSU. Everyone has been so inconsistent this year it is difficult to pick the tourney. It is very open.
If LSU doesn't get to the championship game I'll be disappointed. All 3 SEC losses are on the other side of the bracket.
does that mean that you dont buy into the argument that its hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season?
No. Georgia, Kentucky, and Ole Miss are not good teams and are limping into the tournament. We took State's best shot at home and beat them with 4 players fouled out. Vanderbilt and Auburn are playing their best basketball right now.. on a 3 and 4 game winning streak, respectively.

I made this comment about UK fans when we played them, but they seriously boo more than they cheer! I'm not talking groans when their team fouls like everyone else. All-out boos. Every foul.
