Ok, maybe we want to see it, but the rest of the country likely doesn't want to see it. I am just saying. How would we like to see USC-Oregon in the MNC or OSU-MICH?

I am not trying to be negative or argumentative. It's just that without a playoff system in place, I tend to agree with PSU.

Here's a scenario that I think could be possible, although still not very likely. The teams I've chosen are for demostration only - pick your own teams.

LSU goes undefeated, Auburn wins the rest of their games as well.

LSU plays Florida (or Georgia) in the SEC CG (Florida and Georgia each have a loss).

    LSU wins SEC CG.

PAC-10 champs are USC, with one upset loss to whoever (unlikely, but whatever - STANFORD!)

Big 12 champs are Oklahoma with one loss, but to an unranked opponent.

Big 10 champs are Ohio State, but noone's going there again...

So. LSU/Auburn rematch in the BCS CG.

BYU would be pissed (if they run the table, which is possible)!

Not likely, but it's one way that it might be at least a consideration.

FL / LSU in 2006 would have been epic.

LSU / GA in 2007 would have settled more of the chatter.

Not taking it as argumentative at all. If USC and Oregon are the best in the land let them play, again! I think this year this topic is going to be a hotbed because of the current rankings of the top tier SEC schools.
