I was so curious to see what you you said on this thread I took you off ignore for a second.

Amazingly it was a good post. I agree with the "big" games being the the more important ones to win. Now we gotta hope that the SEC continues the winning streak that MSU started!:thumb:

Thanks... I think. Anyway, I just call it like I see it regardless if it warms the forum hearts or not...this forum is a big enough tent to have varied opinions but we're all on the same team...uh, except the visitors from opposing teams...

:crystal: Kevin Smith is Ron Dayne, you know the guy who was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. Kevin Smith is a decent RB. He was getting good blocks during that game. Now you guys said that if he had an SEC O-LINE he would be better, I counter with that if he played an SEC defense on a regular basis he would be nowhere near the rushing record. Stop drinking the media kol aid.:geauxtige

Ron Dayne?!?! Are you kidding??? He is 6'1 210 lbs....now I know you have never seen this kid play.

You need to step out the SEC for a second and realize there are some quality kids out there that fall through the cracks and get passed up by the BCS conference team...or for whatever reason, dont feel the need to go there. Ever heard of Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Donte Culpepper, etc???

Give it up bro...your reaching now.

I guess this will have to be settled next year. Everyone has their own opinoins, my own being that Kevin Smith is having a good year in Conf. USA. He is not going to be a factor in the NFL. But like I said that is my own opinion.
And if you want to use the whole slipping through the crack thing, then I guess OSU slipped through the crack this year and will win the NCG because the media says they are so great. After all OSU has the #1 DEFENSE AND THEY HAVE WELLS AND HARTLINE AND ROBISKIE ETC....

Oh I see now. Yeah you guys are right he played 1 2 3 4 0 BCS bowl teams in route to getting all of those wonderous yards. He truly is an amazing RB. Maybe if he had 65 attempts against MSU he could have broken Barry Sander's rushing record.
