Croom might have cost me $100.00 on another one I'm on but I've already won my money back on it so it's all good. Anxiously awaiting John's analysis on the SEC.
I mean he is a decent running back. Wait until next year when he is drafted in the 3rd round and is a back up in the NFL. He is hyped to be a great running back when he is a decent running back in an average mid major conference. Besides why am I catching so much flak. I am with you on the watching football games with my hands over my eyes! But why you got to be on John's azz so dang much? They guy is a good LSU poster!! I hope you mean by next year as in not next year but the year after that because he is coming back to UCF for his senior year, so he won't be in the draft in '08 but ill be ther in '09 and who is to say what he does next year on top of a dang good year this one. Also no one is giving you flak just beng proud of an SEC team that needed a win but reconinzing a team that has worked hard to be in the game and did DAMN well in it!
because... what you are saying about Kevin Smith is just silly....how many other "non-SEC" programs have a back that put up his numbers??? Kevin Smith is a legit Hiesman/All American contender next year and certain 1st round draft pick in 09.
How much film have you seen on Kevin Smith? He is a beast, you put him on any major D-1 team and you've got yourself a legitimate Heisman contender.
You can't knock Smith too much for playing against CUSA defenses becuase he runs behind a CUSA offensive line. The guy is legit, plus he created Jay and Silent Bob.
I picked CFU because of their "bonafide" RB, but MSU won with great D and CFU mistakes...very similar in how MSU beat Auburn and Kentucky. But a win is a win... Just a little side note: I think it's more important for the SEC to have Aub, Ga, Fla, Tenn and LSU win their bowl games than these "little" bowls. With Ga, Fla and LSU games being must wins for the conference...
