need a permit to have a concealed loaded gun in your vehicle in oregon and washington you guys can't carry a gun in casinos, bars, nightclubs, restaurant bars, or any place that serves alcohol
You have not been around enough drunk cajuns who lost in a bourré game. cajuns+guns+alcohol+casinos= bad juju
not saying that's wrong, just saying it's more restrictive,.. ... not sure how I feel about the right to conceal loaded guns in cars,.. on one hand it adds to the scary situations cops face,.. on the other hand, I don't like the concept of gun regulation,.. and I don't like this clause in the Oregon law,.. "The concealed-carry license is issued by each county's sheriff, and is valid statewide. The sheriff is given personal discretion if that sheriff "has reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant has been or is reasonably likely to be a danger to self or others." There is no pure definition of what that reason must be.
The Law would not change behavior of bad dudes anyway. People that will follow the law are not a risk to the popo. You want the guy closest to the people to have the most authority over the people, that way you can get him out if office if he is a dirtbag. Along those lines if notice the law enforcement most likely to disagree with the mask rules are the sherriff's..that's because they know their voters better than anybody.
In Texas, there is no law prohibiting me having a gun in the car. It is just good common sense these days.
The Texas Department of Public Safety shall issue a License to Carry a Handgun to an eligible person. The license permits the concealed or open carrying of a handgun. Vehicle carry is allowed without a license if the firearm is not in plain sight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Texas 123 , I don't think I understand the above, does that mean,.. it's ok to have a loaded concealed gun, that no one inside the car has a license for?.. kinda sorta like the gun is part of the car?
