Taylor's range and intimidation are a great compliment for Landry, especially as a rookie. I don't know if they're buddies or not, but it's got to be tough when a teammate goes down like this -- especially when it's kind of your partner on defense.
Sean Taylor is one of my favorites, and its bad that this has happened to them. If you're the coach, do you move laron back to his original position since Taylor is probably out for the season?
Taylor was already out, so what you saw this weekend will likely be what you see down the road, unless he never plays again then you might see some experimentations.
slow wasn't the right word in my previous post... he just doesn't have the RANGE... that's a better word.
I think he's better suited as a roving SS that can play close to the line. His coverage skills aren't nearly as good as his SS skills. Of course, it's not like he's Roy Williams out there, getting beaten by every TE that runs a 4.9, but he's no...well, Sean Taylor either.
