If some of the rumors involving Payton are true, does that affect Brees' decision to play out the remainder of his career with Payton? Maybe I'm a bit naive, but Brees seems to have more of a moral conscience than anyone else in the history of Western Civilization.

Brees was the child of a divorce, which I think can result in going one of two ways. Either the cycle is repeated, or the child grows into a much better person because of it. The only two friends of mine that I "know" would never cheat on their spouses were raised by their mom in a single parent household. Brees' situation is different in that it appears his mom was the crazy one. I would be somewhat shocked if there were ever any infidelity incidents for Brees (although maybe I shouldn't be in this day and age).

I'll say this: I don't think that Sean Payton is going anywhere.

The Dallas thing was b/c his wife picked up and moved to Dallas when she found out that he allegedly impregnated a 24 year old woman. Now that they are getting a divorce, I'm sure he'll move back down here. Drew Brees will be signed to his new contract and all will be well.

I sincerely think that everything will be fine and the Coach Sean Payton and Drew Brees Juggernaut will remain in tact.

i live close to dallas and there have always been rumors about the possibility of maybe one day having payton coach the cowboys. with jason garrett on the hot seat now and with the saints such a mess i'm sure this kind of talk is going to become rampant. I HATE IT! like it or not, payton is a hot product and new orleans is a small market. i hope payton absolutely loves it in new orleans, but i'm scared because he has a house in a dallas suburb.

Bleacher Report is not a news source. It's pretty much a message board presented in the same format as an article. It makes Wikipedia look like a legitimate referencse tool.

I wish people would stop taking anything from Bleacher Report with an ounce of credibility...

I like just about every pseuso news site but bleacherreport. I hate that site not only for content but the format is annoying as f. About.com needs to be filtered out of google as well.

I didn't know,Payton knocked up a,saintsation like Jim haslett. Or a hooters bitch or whatever. Damn. Maybe it's joe horns.
