You think my mom was in the air force during the cold war? I have no problem with people shooting holes in each other's theories....that is the whole point of the exercise. I get a little disappointed in the level of discourse when they start talking like guys down at Shady's.....take the fallout of that situation as exhibit A for my "that helps nobody" theory. Anyway, I object to the ruining of threads by these over-the-top insults and asinine threats which result in nothing but name-calling. I also object to being reprimanded by OkieTiger for a completely SARCASTIC remark about meeting someone outside the stadium and then having no such action taken by the mods when threatened to have a "mudhole stomped in my ass"....which was, I am sure, a sincere expression of that dude....whoever he was. It's a double standard and that is what I find disappointing. This board should hold itself to higher standards. Anyway, I enjoy a quality site and I hope it stays that way. p.s.-Oswald did not act alone....:yelwink2:
Perhaps that remark was also sarcastic. It's a movie line! I mean, I wasn't worried that you were in danger. The name of this forum is Free Speech Alley and we don't censor much here, like we do on other forums. We can't protect everybody from getting their feelings hurt.
You are being disingenious. There was no reprimand from a mod and the remark was not sarcastic. Secondly, it is not a question of feelings. It's about the ability of others to degrade the level of debate. I just don't understand what is the drawback of having people stick to the subject....why is that a difficult concept to grasp? Anyway, this thread is toast...time to move on.
You need to understand that when you are presenting a whack job theory about black helicopters or shadow governments or Roswell you have to bring some kind of evidence. The thing you do not understand is that wild ass conjecture is not evidence. Asking a series of directed questions which you already know the answer to is not evidence. It does not make an argument. It is dishonest, and it makes you look foolish. You believe crazy stuff, and you present no evidence to support your claims. You quote experts who are quacks. You don't vett the stuff you post. You see some NWO conspiracy behind every bush. No sane person is going to take you seriously. Everything from insane to asinine is in your ball park. If you want to post crap you can, but when you post crap with no evidence to back up your claims your message is going to be shot down with facts.
