No dude. Them Taliban were really the government agents who 86ed the SEALs. They also had to be killed so they wouldn't talk. Open your eyes.
2 of those team 6 members killed in the helicopter crash were from here locally, and the community support shown to one members family has been over whelming... they served their country selflessly, and should be remembered and honored.
As an Air Force Officer during the Cold War I flew covert missions against both Russia and China. Our squadron suffered casualties as that is the risk of war. Those who died were dead and gone and those who were captured lived out their lives in Communist prisons. The world knew nothing and we as flyers were part of the conspiracy of silence. The lesson is that the US Goverment is a powerful force in the world. Like any force controlled by man this power can be used for both good or evil. Conspiracies do exist and they exist as an arm of the powerful As a veteran I took no offense at either the title of the thread by FLABENGAL or the questions posed therein. If the use of the phrase 86'd seemed callous I believe it was used to conate the nature of the act if it had in fact been done by a conspiracy. I took his question seriously and so wiil attemt an answer. I do believe Bin Laden was killed by the Seals for the reason that if Bin Laden was already deceased (and the raid a hoax) the body would have been produced by Al-Qaeda to embarrass the US. I do believe the Tilliman incident might truly have been intentional. The first reason is course the initial lie. Why lie if he died as a result of friendly fire? That happens in combat. The command would have to endure an investigation and bad publicity but it would pass and be forgotten. As it was a felow tropper told a different story and a General's carrer was ruined. High stakes indeed to avoid bad publicity. There could well be a lot more to this story. Tilliman's father is justified in his skepticism. FLABENGAL was treated rudely by some of you and without cause. His questions were legitimate and not posted as a provocation. GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK
