What happened to Pat Tillman was nothing more than a gigantic screw up. They tried to take his death and turn it into positive publicity for the war, and in doing so they covered some things up. That's it. It wasn't a conspiracy to kill Pat Tillman because he was anti war. Do you know how many soldiers are anti war? They would have to kill half the army.

this is the beauty of it. people still think you are doing this to intentionally incite them. I think its clear you truly believe what you say.

which I must say is awesome.

    Look dude,

You can chase bigfoot for the rest of your life, doesn't take a wink of sleep away from me, but when you start to insult a fraternity that I am heart and soul, fiber of my being entrenched in then we are going to have a problem.

Tillman was a victim of fratricide. I mentioned in an earlier post as have others that this happens all the time. Hell I went to boot camp with a kid that made the cover of Time because he was one of the first casualties of the Gulf War. Yeah, he was sitting in the back of an LAV-25 and had a hellfire missile land in his lap (just to clear it up Saddam wasn't shooting those) He made news because if he wasn't the first he was close to it.

The point is, with someone as famous as Tillman and at such a critical point in the war, having to say that we shot one of our own on accident wasn't something the "brass" really wanted to do. I'm not condoning what they did, I don't like what they did, I don't even agree with what they did, but I understand. I'm not asking you to agree with any of it either because I really could give two sh!ts if you do or not. I am telling you, without a shadow of a doubt, 100% total conviction in my heart that Pat Tillman was not intentionally killed by anyone in his unit.

That would be the enemy and fall under the "part of the job" thing. Thanks for trying to lighten the conversation but I still want to kick this guys teeth in for being a jackass.

Dude, I warned you in post #3 that this was going to be ugly. I also told you that you were in for an Internet beating. You should have pulled the thread and posted it on a site that is for that kind of talk , if you just had to post it. You will not get any slack cut for starting threads like this. Did you not realize that there are many on this board that do or have served that would find this disrespectful? These men ,and maybe women, have fought for your right to say these things. They are real American heros. But just because you can say it, want to say it and have a right to say it doesn't mean you should say it. Take this as a learning experience. Think before you type. I have never seen the board as flamed as this. Please think before you type.

And for the record, I do not support any of your claims of conspiracy.
