I hear more about scripting plays in the NFL than college. Does LSU script their offensive plays? If so, how much does it get altered depending on down and distance?

Over the past couple of years, I'm always hoping they'll start the game with a safe pass to increase JJ's confidence. However, it seems like the first play (and often 2nd) is always some sort of run (even if it's a shotgun formation). Could Miles being a former O-Line guy and wanting his line to start the game with aggression be a factor in the early play calling?

Jimbeaux used to do it. I think Crowton did as well. But I think it was only like the first 2 or 3 offensive possessions.

I've heard that few scripts survive 20 snaps before adjustments must be made.
