FWIW, as always. JJ 15-25 for about 100 yards and a TD Lee 5-14 for 111 yards Mett 6-11 for 71 yards and 2 TDs Offense threw for a total of 250 yards Randle 5 catches for 37 yards Wright 5 catches for 80 yards Landry held out but could of played Ford led the RBs with 65 yards on 11 touches All RBs combined for 150 yards Loston had 6 tackles and INT Taylor 5 tackles and 1 for loss La'el looks good at left Guard and could play this year Biggest improvement was the DLine and singled out Freak and Brockers
Should play this year......with next years loss of T-Bob, Blackwell and Dworaczyk, he can be in line to start at OG next year. :tigereye:
After the spring game, I had to go watch some of his high school recruiting tapes...because I remembered him kicking lefty in HS. Sure enough, he did. So I re-watched the Spring game thinking maybe it wasn't actually him...since a lot of times, our kickers wear the same number. But after a punt (right footed), I could clearly hear Miles screaming "Hey Wing...WING...nice job".
The kid can kick. At Parkview some of the WR's would go out for a pass, Wing would kick to them in stride. The kid has a chance just like his Dad to play on Sundays.
Not bad for a guy who was supposedly "out of the running for carries" just two short days ago. Helluva comeback, Michael.:dis:
I agree many take these reports and give them too much credit. Miles actually stated two different run totals by Ford yesterday. He said 50 yards during another interview. But you also have to take into account that Ware didn't get many reps yesterday. He missed a practice on Tuesday, worked out lightly on Wednesday, and was given a small load in the scrimmage Thursday. I will continue to stick by my thought that he will get significant playing time behind Ware. Blue will have similar carries as last year before the injury especially on 3rd and short, and Magee who is a Ware clone will take Ware's role from last year. Gore will get his chance too and especially on 3rd and long situations.
